Jackite Flying Bird Kites

Jackite flying bird kites are great to fly over your garden, dock, deck, pool and boat to keep away other birds and control damage – often used by beekeepers, marinas, farmers, home gardeners, orchard owners and government agencies. Jackite flying bird kites soar across the wind AND beat their wings, truly depicting a bird in flight! People will insist you have a bird tied to a string! Made in the USA!

Marguerite's original design was the Osprey. She observed many large birds flying when she was a Park Ranger at False Cape State Park and wanted to educate people on the birds, especially the endangered Osprey. She made a model of an Osprey out of paper and, taking a weeping willow branch from a backyard tree, taped a branch to the wings so people could see the graphics she had drawn. When she held its beak it began to beat its wings and fly and she realized she had a kite! Using her meager earnings, she began the steps to start a business. Jack, her longtime friend, helped with the design. Hence, "Jack" and "kite" made Jackite.
